Umbrellas on Anning

Anning Street Umbrellas, Kaohsiung, Taiwan One of the cool things about visiting cities that you know nothing about is discovering little areas that are not necessarily on the tourist route. Anning St is a shopping street which was just a block away from our hotel in Kaohsiung, and was full of these colourful umbrellas. Down in the Daan

Daan Park Station, Taipei, Taiwan I took this shot on our first full day in Taipei at the MRT station directly across from our hotel. "Old meets New"

Sungnyemun Gate, Seoul, South Korea After landing in Seoul after a 12 hour flight, and having a night a hotel near the airport, we made our way into Seoul proper. After dropping off our bags at our hotel for the next 5 nights we went for a walk around ( or up and down as the case may be ) and found ourselves at Sungnyemun Gate just as the guards were walking through.
